MORE ABOUT ME!
I'm a wife, a dog mom, and a believer in Christ. My husband and I have been together since we were sixteen and seventeen and have been married for six years. He's my best friend and honestly the best part of my life! Our dog is named Doobie and he's the cutest rescue I've ever seen (I'm obviously biased) but don't ask us what breed or what age he is, we have no idea haha. I love binging true crime content in any form, watching documentaries, drinking coffee, going for long drives, visiting local breweries, and playing board games with friends.
I've had a camera in my hands ever since my parents got me one for Christmas when I was ten. From that point on, I couldn't stop myself from documenting life. Whether it was what I ate for breakfast that day, or my friends and I at our school dance, or a stranger walking down the street, I took photos of everything. I knew when I graduated high school that I wanted to pursue a creative career. I didn't know what that meant until I read the description for the journalism major on Mount Royal University's website. The idea of storytelling drew me in immediately and I was sold. Through my four years at university, I found that my niche was stories about people and documentary photography. If I had the option, I always chose to do a profile piece because it meant I could sit down with someone and have them share their story with me. I never found a single person that didn't have an amazing story to tell, no matter how mundane they thought it might be. This has fuelled my passion for wedding photography ever since. I truly love people and I love telling their stories through photos!
